Characteristics
- MyoD (Myogenic differentiation factor 1, Myf-3), is a transcription factor belonging to the myogenic factors family that contains a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) DNA-binding domain. MyoD is the central regulator in the signaling pathways that regulate muscle development. MyoD antibody (mAb) (Clone 5F11) was raised in a Rat host. It has been validated for use in Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western blot, it has been shown to react with Human and Mouse samples.
