The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-AATK antibody (ABIN7229418) specifically detects AATK in ELISA and WB.
The antibody is reactive with Human and Mouse samples.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-2000,ELISA 1:5000-20000

Serine/threonine-protein kinase LMTK1, Apoptosis-associated tyrosine kinase, AATYK, Brain apoptosis-associated tyrosine kinase, CDK5-binding protein, Lemur tyrosine kinase 1, p35-binding protein, p35BPThe protein encoded by AATK contains a tyrosine kinase domain at the N-terminus and a proline-rich domain at the C-terminus. AATK is induced during apoptosis, and expression of AATK may be a necessary pre-requisite for the induction of growth arrest and/or apoptosis of myeloid precursor cells. AATK has been shown to produce neuronal differentiation in a neuroblastoma cell line. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for AATK.
