The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-HBXIP antibody (ABIN7228862) specifically detects HBXIP in WB and ELISA.
The antibody is reactive with Human and Mouse samples.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-2000,ELISA 1:5000-20000

Background
Ragulator complex protein LAMTOR5, Hepatitis B virus X-interacting protein, HBV X-interacting protein, HBX-interacting protein, Late endosomal/lysosomal adaptor and MAPK and MTOR activator 5LAMTOR5 encodes a protein that specifically complexes with the C-terminus of hepatitis B virus X protein (HBx). The function of this protein is to negatively regulate HBx activity and thus to alter the replication life cycle of the virus. LAMTOR5 (Late Endosomal/Lysosomal Adaptor, MAPK And MTOR Activator 5) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with LAMTOR5 include Hepatitis B and Hepatitis. Among its related pathways are RET signaling and Cellular Senescence (REACTOME).
