    pThr187

    Purpose

    p27 (phospho Thr187) Polyclonal Antibody

    Specificity

Phospho-p27 (T187) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of p27 protein only when phosphorylated at T187.

    Purification

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen

    Immunogen

Synthesized peptide derived from human p27 Phospho-Thr187

    Isotype

    IgG
  • Application Notes

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB (1:500-1:2000), IHC-P (1:100-1:300), ELISA (1:10000). Not yet tested in other applications.

    Alternative Name

    Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitor 1B (p27, Kip1)

    Background

Rabbit Anti-p27 (phospho Thr187) Polyclonal Antibody,CDKN1B, KIP1, Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1B, Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor p27, p27Kip1,CDKN1B encodes a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor (cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor 1B), which shares a limited similarity with CDK inhibitor CDKN1A/p21. Cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor 1B binds to and prevents the activation of cyclin E-CDK2 or cyclin D-CDK4 complexes, and thus controls the cell cycle progression at G1. The degradation of cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor 1B, which is triggered by its CDK dependent phosphorylation and subsequent ubiquitination by SCF complexes, is required for the cellular transition from quiescence to the proliferative state. Mutations in CDKN1B are associated with multiple endocrine neoplasia type IV (MEN4).,Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1B
