The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-RPS20 antibody is suitable to detect RPS20 in samples from Human, Rat and Mouse. It has been validated for WB, ELISA, IF and IHC.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-1:2000,IHC 1:100-1:300,IF 1:200-1:1000,ELISA 1:40000,Not yet tested in other applications.

Background
RPS20, 40S ribosomal protein S20Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. RPS20 (ribosomal protein S20) encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 40S subunit. The protein belongs to the S10P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. RPS20 is co-transcribed with the small nucleolar RNA gene U54, which is located in its second intron. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of RPS20 dispersed through the genome. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for RPS20.
