This antibody binds to CD43, which is expressed on lymphocytes.

Application Notes original Clone: This antibody detects CD43 on lymphoid cells, and can be used to label thymocytes, lymphocytes from the bone marrow and thoracic duct lymphocytes (Williams et al, 1977). Similarly, W3/13 can be used in immunohistochemical staining, enabling the elucidation of the cellular organisation of lymph nodes (Barclay, 1981).

Characteristics: This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
