Background
- The A-kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs) are a group of structurally diverse proteins, which have the common function of binding to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A (PKA) and confining the holoenzyme to discrete locations within the cell. AKAP8 is a member of the AKAP family. It is located in the nucleus during interphase and is distinctly redistributed during mitosis. This protein has a cell cycle-dependent interaction with the RII subunit of PKA. Synonyms: Polyclonal AKAP8 antibody, Anti-AKAP8 antibody, A kinase, PRKA anchor protein 8 antibody, AKAP95 antibody, DKFZp586B1222 antibody.
