Background
- TNF RII is a high affinity receptor for TNF-alpha and -beta, potent mediators of multiple aspects of inflammatory immune responses. RII is a prototypic member of the TNF receptor superfamily and has been designated TNFRSF1B. Whereas all cell types are thought to express TNF RI, TNF RII expression is limited primarily to hematopoietic cells and cells of the immune system. Most of the biological functions of TNF are mediated via TNF RI. Synonyms: Monoclonal TNFRII antibody, Anti-TNFRII antibody, TNF RII antibody, TNF-RII antibody, p75 antibody, p80 antibody, Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor II antibody, Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor 2 antibody.
