Alternative Name CD177 (CD177 Antibody Abstract)
Background CD177 (NB1/HNA-2a and PRV-1 form) is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein present mainly on neutrophils. Its plasma membrane expression is increased during pregnancy and and inflammation or after G-CSF application. Ligand of CD177 has been identified as CD31 (PECAM-1). CD177 participates in neutrophil transmigration and seems to be also a pro-proliferative molecule. The antibodies against CD177 can be involved in neonatal alloimmune neutropenia (NAN).
Application Notes The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis of human blood cells using 20 μ,l reagent / 100 μ,l of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (2 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests.
Comment

The purified antibody is conjugated with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) under optimum conditions. The reagent is free of unconjugated FITC and adjusted for direct use. No reconstitution is necessary.

Restrictions For Research Use only
Reconstitution No reconstitution is necessary.
Buffer The reagent is provided in stabilizing phosphate buffered saline (PBS) solution containing 15 mM sodium azide.
Preservative Sodium azide
