Product Details anti-CD14 Antibody

Specificity: Reacts with the human monocyte marker CD14, a 53 kDa glycoprotein. Inhibits the endotoxin induced release of TNF by monocytes because it blocks the binding of LPS-LBP to monocytes. The antibody reacts with both soluble and monocyte surface CD14.

Immunogen: A crude mixture of human urinary proteins precipitated by ammonium sulphate from the urine of a patient suffering from proteinuria.
