Comment
-
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-HMGB3 antibody ( ARP35765_T100). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Background
-
Background Information: The human HMG2a gene is transcribed mainly in the placenta. HMG2a encodes a protein which is part of the high mobility group (HMG) family. Members of this family are ubiquitously expressed and facilitate the formation of nucleoprotein complexes where the DNA is sharply bent.
Alternative Symbols: HMG4, HMG-4, HMG2A, HMG-2a
