    Biological Activity Comment
Immobilized Human CTLA-4, His Tag at 0.5μg/ml (100μl/Well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Anti-CTLA-4 Antibody, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 20.1ng/ml determined by ELISA. See testing image for detail.
  • Restrictions
    For Research Use only
  • Format
    Lyophilized
    Reconstitution
Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
    Buffer
Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
    Storage
    4 °C,-80 °C
    Storage Comment
Reconstituted protein stable at -80°C for 12 months, 4°C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

    Background
CTLA4, CD152, ICOS, CELIAC3, GRD4, GSE, ALPS5, IDDM12,CTLA-4 (cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4), also known as CD152, is a protein receptor that, functioning as an immune checkpoint, downregulates immune responses.CTLA4 is constitutively expressed in regulatory T cells but only upregulated in conventional T cells after activation - a phenomenon which is particularly notable in cancers. It acts as an "off" switch when bound to CD80 or CD86 on the surface of antigen-presenting cells.
    Molecular Weight
14.3 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 28-35 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
