Purification tag / Conjugate
- Atto 647N
-
Purpose
- mouse NGF 2.5S-ATTO Fluor-647N
-
Specificity
- Toxin target: p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), TrkA receptors
-
Characteristics
- ATTO 647N (Ex/Em: 646/664 nm). The extent of labeling is one molecule of dye per one mouse NGF 2.5S molecule, linked via primary amines.
-
Biological Activity Comment
- The biological effects of NGF are mediated by two receptors: TrkA, which is specific for NGF, and p75NTR, which binds all the neurotrophins.

Application Notes
- Antigen Preadsorption Control: 4-100 nM
-
Restrictions
- For Research Use only
-
-
-
Format
- Lyophilized
-
Reconstitution
- Centrifuge the vial at 10,000 x g for 5 minutes before opening to ensure all material is collected at the bottom. The lyophilized product may be difficult to visualize. Add solvent directly to the centrifuged vial and dissolve by gently tapping, tilting, or rolling the vial. Avoid vigorous vortexing, a brief, light vortex of 1-2 seconds is acceptable if necessary. Note: The product is typically supplied in a 0.5 mL conical vial. The product is readily soluble in high-quality pure water at micromolar to millimolar concentrations (typically 5 μM to 1 mM). For long-term storage in solution, we recommend preparing a stock solution by dissolving the product in double-distilled water (ddH2O) at a concentration between 100-1000x the final working concentration. Divide the stock solution into small, single-use aliquots and store at -20 °C. Before use, thaw the relevant vial(s) and dilute to the desired working concentration in your working buffer. Centrifuge all product preparations before use. It is recommended to prepare fresh working solutions just before use. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles and exposure to light to maintain optimal biological activity.
