    Characteristics

Protein Size: Recombinant CD14 migrates as an approximately 36 kDa protein due to glycosylation under reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE.

Sequence Position: Optimized DNA sequence encoding Human CD14 mature chain was expressed in CHO. Recombinant Human Monocyte differentiation antigen CD14 encodes amino acid residues 20-367.

    Endotoxin Level

Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/μg(1EU/μg).

    Biological Activity Comment

Determined by the dose dependent activation of NF-κB in a RAW264 cell line
