Human Polyclonal RPL11 Primary Antibody for ELISA, WB - ABIN1327647
Hagner, Mazan-Mamczarz, Dai, Balzer, Corl, Martin, Zhao, Gartenhaus: Ribosomal protein S6 is highly expressed in non-Hodgkin lymphoma and associates with mRNA containing a 5' terminal oligopyrimidine tract. in Oncogene 2011
Data suggest 5S ribosomal RNA is a direct target of miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-150 and miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-383 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC); overexpression of miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-150 and miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-383 inhibits ESCC cell proliferation in vitro and in vivo and intensifies RPL11/c-Myc (show MYC Antibodies) interaction.
Ribosomal proteins L11 and L5 activate TAp73 (show TP73 Antibodies) by overcoming MDM2 (show MDM2 Antibodies) inhibition.
Data indicate that ribosomal protein (L11) promotes the recruitment of microRNA-130a (miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-130a) to oncoprotein c-Myc (show MYC Antibodies) in response to UV irradiation treatment.
Data indicate that ribosomal protein L11 (RPL11)-expressing cells proliferated more rapidly than the ribosomal protein L11 (RPL11)-expressing cells.
Findings uncover a mechanism by which RPL5 (show RPL5 Antibodies) and RPL11 can co-operatively suppress c-Myc (show MYC Antibodies) expression, allowing a tightly controlled ribosome biogenesis in cells.
levels of branched-chain aminotransferase-1 (BCAT1 (show BCAT1 Antibodies)) transcripts are significantly decreased on the polysomes of both RPS19 (show RPS19 Antibodies) and RPL11 cells and that translation of BCAT1 (show BCAT1 Antibodies) protein is especially impaired in cells with small RP gene mutations
Findings suggest that PICT1 has a crucial role in gastric cancer progression by regulating the MDM2-TP53 pathway through RPL11.
Unlike other tumor suppressors, RPL5 and RPL11 play essential roles in normal cell proliferation.
disrupted nucleoli may provide a platform for L5- and L11-dependent p53 (show TP53 Antibodies) activation, implying a role for the nucleolus in p53 (show TP53 Antibodies) activation by ribosomal biogenesis stress
RPL11 mutations led to a dramatic decrease in progenitor cell proliferation and a delayed erythroid differentiation with a marked increase in apoptosis and G0/1 cell cycle arrest with activation of p53 (show TP53 Antibodies).
there is a fine tuned balance in the interaction of ribosomal proteins with the MDM2 (show MDM2 Antibodies)/p53 (show TP53 Antibodies) axis which is important in normal hematopoiesis.
The association of the L11 and Mdm2 (show MDM2 Antibodies) is resulted the activation of the pathway in embryonic stem cells.
Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L5P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. The protein probably associates with the 5S rRNA. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.
