The molecular weight of the recognized antigen is 150kDa. CD49d antigen is the integrin alpha-4 chain non covalently associated with the integrin beta-1-chain (CD29 molecule) forming the VLA4 complex. Reacts with monocytes, T cells, B cells, thymocytes and Langerhans cells.

Fluorescent microscopy or flow cytometry: 2 µg/5x105 cells/test Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
