The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-JAK1 antibody (ABIN362145) specifically detects JAK1 in WB and IHC.
The antibody is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
The antibody detects endogenous level of JAK1 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 1022.
Purification
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Immunogen
Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pTyr1022 (K-E-Y (p) -Y-T) derived from Human JAK1. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.

Background
Tyrosine kinase of the non-receptor type, involved in the IFN-a/beta/gamma signal pathway. Kinase partner for the interleukin (IL)-2 receptor.
