The antibody detects: Human TCR, Zap-70 (Mr 70 kDa)
To insure lot-to-lot consistency, each batch of product is tested by ELISA and/or PCFIA assay to conform to the characteristics of a standard reference reagent.
Working Dilution: <= 1 µg/10^6 cells Representative data are included in this product insert.
Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.

Background
ZAP 70, also known as TCR associated protein, is a protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) with the primary role of catalyzing the phosphorylation of tyrosine residues in cellular proteins, and thus, contributes significantly to the initiation of cell signaling. ZAP 70 is expressed on T cells and NK cells. The monoclonal antibodies SB70 and SBZAP were generated against a KLH-peptide sequence corresponding to the human ZAP 70 amino acid residues 280-309.
