DS-PB-02657 is specific for human IL-33 (interleukin-33), formerly known as NF-HEV (nuclear factor from high endothelial venules), a recently described member of the IL-1 superfamily which signals through interaction with the ST2 and Toll-interleukin 1 (IL-1) receptors, and is known to act as an immunoregulator of T helper 2 (Th2) cell cytokine synthesis.
Characteristics
Cytokines/Chemokines/Growth Factors/Receptors
Immunogen
Antiserum to human IL-33 was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
ELISA (dilution: 0.1, 0.2 μg/mL), Western Blotting
Restrictions
For Research Use only
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 0.5 mL sterile PBS containing 0.1 % bovine serum albumin. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. RayBiotech recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09 % sodium azide is recommended.
