Immunogen This MCL1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 217-245 AA from the Central region of human MCL1.
Clone RB33638
Isotype Ig
Specificity This MCL1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 216-245 amino acids from the Central region of human MCL1.
Predicted Reactivity Rat (Rattus)
Purification This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Alternative Name MCL1 (MCL1 Antibody Abstract)
Background This gene encodes an anti-apoptotic protein, which is a member of the Bcl-2 family. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. The longest gene product (isoform 1) enhances cell survival by inhibiting apoptosis while the alternatively spliced shorter gene products (isoform 2 and isoform 3) promote apoptosis and are death-inducing.
