  1. We observed an association of higher Ki-67 (show MKI67 Antibodies) expression with Gleason sum National Comprehensive Cancer Network risk (P=0.013) and PSA (show PLAG1 Antibodies) recurrence

  2. Results show that urinary PSA (show PLAG1 Antibodies) glycoforms are able to discriminate prostate cancer from protastatic hyperplasia with higher sensitivity and specificity for prostate cancer than those of the serum PSA (show PLAG1 Antibodies) marker.

  3. results suggest that overexpression of CRISP-3 (show CRISP3 Antibodies) in prostate tumor may maintain higher PSA (show PLAG1 Antibodies) expression and lower ANXA1 (show ANXA1 Antibodies) expression

  4. No significant differences in in KLK3 (show KLKB1 Antibodies) expression were found between radical prostatectomy-prostate cancer and radical prostatectomy-benign samples.

  5. BMI should be taken into consideration when referring men to a prostate biopsy based on serum PSA (show PLAG1 Antibodies)-levels.

  6. Ad5 (show PSEN2 Antibodies)/35E1aPSESE4 is effective in marking PSA (show PLAG1 Antibodies)/PSMA (show FOLH1 Antibodies)-positive prostate cancer cells in patient blood to improve the efficacy of utilizing CTCs as a biomarker.

  7. The synthesis and serum levels of PSA (show PLAG1 Antibodies) are directly affected by prostate tumor cell miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-183.

  8. Prostate cancer gene 3 gene expression discriminates LN metastasis and might outperform prostate specific antigen (show KLK3 Antibodies) gene activity in reflecting tumor cell burden in pelvic LNs of PCa (show FLVCR1 Antibodies) patients.

  10. Of those patients who took AA with food at PSA (show PLAG1 Antibodies) progression, a PSA (show PLAG1 Antibodies) decline was observed in 3 of the 19 (16%) men, including 3 of the 14 men who had an initial response to AA (21%).

Mouse (Murine) Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) interaction partners

  1. Klkb1 (show KLKB1 Antibodies)(-/-) mice have a novel mechanism for thrombosis protection in addition to reduced contact activation. This pathway arises when bradykinin delivery to vasculature is compromised and mediated by increased receptor Mas (show MAS1 Antibodies), prostacyclin, Sirt1 (show SIRT1 Antibodies), and KLF4 (show KLF4 Antibodies)

  2. Plasma kallikrein (show KLKB1 Antibodies) deletion prevents occlusive thrombus formation in mice with a minimal role in provoked bleeding.

  3. PKK (show RIPK4 Antibodies) or fXII (show F12 Antibodies) deficiency reduced thrombus formation in both arterial and venous thrombosis models, without an apparent effect on hemostasis.

  4. Data suggest that LGG secreting PSA (show NPEPPS Antibodies) may activate antigen specific immune responses when instilled intravesically and IL15 (show IL15 Antibodies) could enhance this response.

  5. the prekallikrein gene (Klkb1 (show KLKB1 Antibodies)) is expressed highly in the mammary gland during stromal remodeling periods including puberty and postlactational involution.

Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. This gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Its protein product is a protease present in seminal plasma. It is thought to function normally in the liquefaction of seminal coagulum, presumably by hydrolysis of the high molecular mass seminal vesicle protein. Serum level of this protein, called PSA in the clinical setting, is useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of prostatic carcinoma. Alternate splicing of this gene generates several transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
