|Alternative Name||Bcl-2-like 8 (BAD Antibody Abstract)|
Bad is a pro-apoptotic member of the Bcl-2 family. Bad will bind preferentially Bcl-xLover Bcl-2 through its partial (9-16 a.a) BH3 domain. Additionally, Bad can reverse thedeath repressor activity of Bcl-xL but not of Bcl-2. Upon dephosphorylation, activatedBad translocates to the mitochondria and displace Bcl-2 from tBid sequestration toinitiate mitochondrial dysfunction. The switching on/off of its phosphorylation bygrowth/survival factors regulates Bad activity. Alternate Names: anti-Bcl-2 binding component 6 antibody, anti-BBC 2 antibody, anti-BBC2 antibody,anti-BBC6 antibody, anti-Bcl 2 Antagonist of Cell Death antibody, anti-Bcl 2 BindingComponent 6 antibody, anti-BCL X / BCL 2 Binding Protein antibody, anti-BCL XBinding Protein antibody, anti-Bcl XL/Bcl 2 Associated Death Promoter antibody,anti-Bcl2 Associated Death Promoter antibody, anti-Bcl2 Like 8 Protein antibody,anti-BCL2L8 antibody, anti-BclXL antibody, anti-Proapoptotic BH3 Only Protein antibody.

|Buffer||PBS 49 % , Glycerol 50 % , BSA 0.05 % , Sodium Azide|
|Precaution of Use||WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.|
|Handling Advice||Avoid freeze-thaw cycles|
