|Alternative Name||ATM (ATM Antibody Abstract)|
|Background||ATM Protein is a 350kD polypeptide that is the product of the ATM gene. The ATM gene is defective in Ataxia telangiectasia. ATM protein is expressed within the nucleus of all normal cells, and is thought to be important in detection of DNA damage.Synonyms: A-T mutated, ATDC, Ataxia telangiectasia mutated, Serine-protein kinase ATM, TEL1, TELO1|
|Research Area||Cancer, DNA/RNA|
|Pathways||p53 Signaling, Apoptosis, DNA Damage Repair|

Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/1000. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: 1:50, this product does require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections, we recommend the use of antigen unmasking fluid for this purpose. A two hour incubation with ABIN121486 is recommended.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
