Product Details anti-Melanoma gp100 Antibody

Specificity: Recognizes a (pre) melanosomal 100+7kD antigen (glycoprotein). Reacts with melanomas, clear cell sarcomas (melanoma of soft tissue), nevocellular nevi and normal melanocytes. Except for one case of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in which macrophages were positive, no reactions with other tumors or tissues have been observed.

Purification: Protein G purified

Usage: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (Immunoperoxidase staining on frozen tissue sections). Immunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:20 with PBS. Formalin fixation and embedding in paraffin may affect the reactivity of the antibody. The applications listed have been tested for the unmodified form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
