Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FACS), ELISA, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p))
  • Specificity

Recognizes human b2-microglobulin associated with cell-surface MHC Class I molecules and other membrane antigens as well as soluble human b2-microglobulin. Does not cross-react with mouse, bovine, rabbit, dog or chicken b2-microglobulin.

    Purification

    Ion exchange chromatography

    Immunogen

    Purified human b2-microglobulin.

    Type of Immunogen: Purified protein

    Isotype

    IgG2a
  • Application Notes

    Approved: ELISA, Flo (1 μg/mL), IHC, IHC-P (10 μg/mL), IP, WB (2 - 4 μg/mL)

Usage: Immunohistochemistry: This antibody was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in  pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for this antibody was determined to be 10 μg/mL.
