    Specificity
    Recognizes Human late stage inflammatory macrophages. The antigen recognized is an 86kD protein (unreduced conditions), probably a glycoprotein on the cell surface and within the cytoplasm of mature macrophages. Reported to recognize microglia stem cells. Species Reactivity: Human, rhesus monkey (macrophages) and porcine (alveolar macrophages and Kupffer cells).

    Approved: ICC (1:50), IHC, IHC-P

    Usage: The monoclonal is suitable for use on BAL (bronchial lavage fluids) and other lavages. Immunohistochemistry: 1:50 using formaldehyde fixation, paraffin embedded tissue. Predigestion required. Immunocytochemistry: 1:50. It is stable to formaldehyde fixation and paraffin embedding. Enzyme digestion is recommended.
