Background
A novel cyclin-dependent kinase-related molecule, NKIAMRE, (CDKL3) has been identified that is thought to be a tumor suppressor locus. The NKIAMRE gene has a cytolocalization on 5q, which is a region that is interstitially deleted in human acute leukemia and human myeloid dysplastic disorders.
