- Specificity
- DS-MB-02314 recognizes the Saint Louis Encephalitis virus strain (MSI-7) envelope glycoprotein. SLE is a flavivirus producing severe encephalitis in humans. The viral envelope contains a single glycoprotein serving as a major structural component of the virion spike. The antibody cross reacts with other SLE strains and related flaviviruses as determined by immunofluorescence and haemagglutination assays (Roehrig et al.).
