Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Fluorescence Microscopy (FM)
    Cross-Reactivity
    Human, Mouse (Murine), Rat (Rattus)
    Purification
Anti-KV3.4 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with KV3.4 from human, mouse, and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with KV3.4 from other sources has not been determined. Ion Channels research.

    Background

    Synonyms: Raw3, Voltage-gated potassium channel subunit Kv3.4, Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily C member 4

Background: Kv3.4, a member of the Shaw subfamily, may play important roles in maintaining normal function of the corneal epithelium. Kv3.4 is also over-expressed in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease, and therefore represents a novel therapeutic target for this disease.
