Characteristics
- Myf-5 (Myogenic Factor 5, MFY5) is a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor involved in muscle differentiation. Myf-5 induces differentiation of fibroblasts into myoblasts. Efficient DNA binding requires dimerization with another bHLH protein. Myf-5 antibody (mAb) (Clone 1E2G4) was raised in a Rat host. It has been validated for use in Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western blot, it has been shown to react with Mouse samples.
