Cross-Reactivity (Details)
- This antiserum has not been absorbed & may react with related microorganisms. Antibody is reactive with other Mycobacteria species including: M. avium, M. phlei, and M. parafortuitum. Antibody is non-reactive with E. coli K12, Salmonella typhimurium, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus (group B), Candida albicans and Neisseria meningitidis. Others no tested. Antibody is reactive with the following antigens of M. tuberculosis: Lipoarabinomannan, ESAT 6, CFP10, 38 kDa, Antigen 16 (HspX), Hsp 65 (GroEl) and MoeX. Others not tested.

- This product consists of purified IgG fraction of the above antiserum covalently coupled with the N-Hydroxysuccinimide ester of biotin under mild conditions to give a high degree of substitution.

Application Notes
- TITER : > 1:1,000 by ELISA, Possible applications for this product include avidin and streptavidin amplification systems for immunohistochemistry, ELISA, fluorescence microscopy and immunoblotting. In addition, this product may be used in place of neat antiserum in almost any appropriate antibody-based technique.
