This antibody binds human PAR2 or proteinase-activated receptor 2 upstream to its cleavage site. PAR2 acts as a receptor for trypsin and trypsin-like enzymes coupled to G proteins.
Application Notes original Clone: The initial screening of this antibody for reactivity for PAR2 was done using ELISA. The equilibrium dissociation constant (KD) of this antibody was obtained using KinExA® software and by ""n-curve analysis"" and it was reported that the original antibody had a KD of 3.39 nM with a 95 % confidence interval of 1.36 to 5.47 nM (US8357367).
