- CD31 (PECAM1) (Platelet/endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (PECAM1))
- Protein Type
- Recombinant
-
Origin
- Human
-
Source
- HEK-293 Cells
- Purification tag / Conjugate
- This CD31 protein is labelled with His tag.
- Application
- Biochemical Assay (BCA)
- Characteristics
- Optimized DNA sequence encoding Human extracellular domain of human CD31including a C-terminal 6His tag was expressed in HEK293 cells.
- Purity
- > 95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
- Endotoxin Level
- Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/µg(1EU/µg).
- Biological Activity Comment
- Recombinant Human CD31 activity was determined by its ability to support the adhesion of Jurkat human leukemic T cells. When cells are added to recombinant human CD31 coated plates ( 3.3 μg/mL , 100 μL/well ) in the presence of PMA , approximately 50% - 65% will adhere specifically after 30 minutes at 37°C
