    Background
VCPKMT is a protein-lysine N-methyltransferase that specifically trimethylates 'Lys-315' of VCP/p97, this modification may decrease VCP ATPase activity. Recombinant human VCPKMT protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
