    Background
SIKE interacts with IKK-epsilon and TBK1 and acts as a suppressor of TLR3 and virus-triggered interferon activation pathways. Recombinant human SIKE1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
