Reconstitution: Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Background: CALEB also known as chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan (CSPG)5 or neuroglycan C, is a neural chondroitin sulfate-containing and epidermal growth factor (EGF)-domain-containing transmembrane protein that is implicated in synaptic maturation. An involvement of CALEB in the presynaptic differentiation of cerebellar GABAergic synapses and revealed a new role for CALEB in synapse elimination in Purkinje cells.

Molecular Weight: 42.69 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 60-80 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
