Origin
- Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV)
-
Source
- Yeast (Saccharomyces Cerevisiae)
- Application
- Western Blotting (WB), Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA)
- Characteristics
- Herpes Simplex Virus-2 (HSV-2), Glycoprotein G (gG), Recombinant. HSV-2 gG-specific and unique sequences (AA Leu 343 -Asp 649 ), not present in HSV-1, fused with human superoxide dismutase (SOD). Reacts to anti-human SOD and anti-HSV-2 gG antibodies. Major immunospecific band migrating between 97 and 66 kDa standards (approx. 80 kDa). Minor band smaller than 30 kDa standard may also be observed.
