Human Polyclonal DDX18 Primary Antibody for IP, WB - ABIN151245
Payne, Bolli, Rhodes, Abdel-Wahab, Levine, Hedvat, Stone, Khanna-Gupta, Sun, Kanki, Gazda, Beggs, Cotter, Look: Ddx18 is essential for cell-cycle progression in zebrafish hematopoietic cells and is mutated in human AML. in Blood 2011
Human Polyclonal DDX18 Primary Antibody for IF, WB - ABIN2451946
Sekiguchi, Hayano, Yanagida, Takahashi, Nishimoto: NOP132 is required for proper nucleolus localization of DEAD-box RNA helicase DDX47. in Nucleic acids research 2006
Data show that odulation of RNA helicase (show DDX46 Antibodies) DDX18 directly affects growth of tamoxifen-resistant cells, suggesting that it may be a critical downstream effector of the estrogen receptors (ERs) and high mobility group box 2 (HMGB2 (show HMGB2 Antibodies)) complex.
We identified 4 nonsynonymous sequence variants of DDX18 in acute myeloid leukemia patient samples
findings suggest that MrDb is important for cell proliferation and that its inhibition could prevent tumor cell proliferation.
In a zebrafish mutagenesis we identified an insertional allele hi1727, which disrupts the gene encoding RNA helicase (show DDX46 Antibodies) dead-box 18 (Ddx18).
Expression of the viral nsp2 (show RTN2 Antibodies) or nsp10 in MARC (show CCL7 Antibodies)-145 cells and alveolar macrophages redistributed swine DDX18 from the nucleus to the cytoplasm, and promoted the viral replication, but silencing of the DDX18 gene in MARC (show CCL7 Antibodies)-145 cells down-regulated the replication of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus.
DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of this family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. This gene encodes a DEAD box protein, and it is activated by Myc protein.
