Western Blotting (WB), ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro)), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p)), Immunocytochemistry (ICC)
    Specificity
It has been selected for its ability to recognize AP in immunohistochemical staining and Western blotting.
    Purification
    Affinity Chromatography
    Immunogen
Native aprotinin of humanThe aprotinin is the small protein pancreatic trypsin inhibitor, or BPTI, which inhibits trypsin and related proteolytic enzymes. Aprotinin was used as a medication administered by injection to reduce bleeding during complex surgery, such as heart and liver surgery. In cardiac surgery with a high risk of significant blood loss, aprotinin significantly reduced bleeding, mortality and hospital stay. Beneficial effects were also reported in high-risk orthopedic surgery. In liver transplantation, initial reports of benefit were overshadowed by concerns about toxicity.
The antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against AP.

    Precaution of Use
WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
