    Specificity
GM4C1 recognises granzyme B transiently expressed on the cell surface of transfected BOSC cells as well as the native protein in peripheral blood mononuclear cells. The antibody does not cross-react with the human granzymes A, K or M (Fi

    Background
Granzymes are exogenous serine proteases that are stored in the cytotoxic granules of activated T cells and NK cells. GM4C1 was generated by genetic immunisation and reacts with human granzyme B (GrB), a 27 kDa serine protease which cleaves target-cell proteins at specific aspartate residues.
