- Application Notes
- For western blots of yeast protein samples, use MCA-34B12 diluted 1/10,000, followed by chemiluminescent detection (ECL). For immunofluorescence on yeast cells, use MCA-34B12 diluted 1/1,000 to 1/10,000. We routinely dilute to 1/2,000. For immunoprecipitations, try 2-4 µL for the amount of lysate derived from 5 OD600 units of yeast culture. MCA-34B12 does not immunoprecipitate as well as another Nop5p monoclonal antibody, MCA-37C12, which is also available from EnCor.
