    Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
    Specificity
Rabbit Anti-ATF-4 (Phospho-Ser245) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of ATF4 only when phosphorylated at serine 245.
    Purification
The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide is removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
    Immunogen
Synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human ATF-4 around pSer245 (N-R-SP-L-P)
    Isotype
    IgG

  • Application Notes
    IHC: 1:50-1:100
    Restrictions
    For Research Use only
  • Concentration
    1 mg/mL
    Buffer
    phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02 % sodium azide, and 50 % glycerol
    Preservative
    Sodium azide
    Precaution of Use
WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
    Handling Advice
Briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container's cap because small volumes of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage.
    Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
    Storage
    -20 °C
    Storage Comment
    Store at -20 °C for 1 year.
