Blocking Antibody (Inhibition)
  • Specificity

Recognizes a protein of 135kD, identified as the alpha subunit of human insulin receptor (IR). Its epitope localizes in exon 7/8 and shows no cross-reactivity with IGF-receptors. Species cross-reactivity: Human, bovine, porcine and sheep. Weakly reacts with rabbit. Does not react with mouse or rat.

    Purification

    Protein G purified

    Immunogen

IM-9 lymphocytes followed by purified insulin receptor.

    Type of Immunogen: Cells

    Isotype

    IgG1
  • Application Notes

    Approved: Inhb

Usage: Suitable for use in inhibiting insulin binding. Use antibody at 10nM.
