- Cross-Reactivity (Details)
- Not cross-reactive with egg white avidin. Binds with high efficiency to epitope of streptavidin molecule. K86130M reacts with the determinant not overlapping with K86310M epitope. Binds to the streptavidin without interfering with the biotin-binding reaction.

- Application Notes
- Can be used to localize streptavidin, to amplify signals in immunochemistry, histochemistry, ELISA, flow cytometry and immunoblotting. Mouse anti-streptavidin applied to the ABC complex, previously bound to the second antibody system, allows for further enhancement of signal when anti-mouse antibody conjugate is added. The antibody is effective in Immunoadsorbtion procedures of streptavidin-biotinylated protein complexes. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
