-
Specificity
- Recognizes wild type, recombinant and enhanced GFP. Assay by IEP resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-goat serum, anti-peroxidase and purified and partially purified Green Fluorescent Protein (Aequorea victoria) Serum. No reaction was observed against human, mouse and rat serum proteins.

Application Notes

Approved: ELISA (1:10000 - 1:50000), IF, IHC (1:500 - 1:3000), WB (1:1000 - 1:5000)
Usage: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. ELISA: 1:10000-1:50000. Sandwich or capture. Recognizes wild type, recombinant and enhanced forms of GFP. Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:3000. Immunofluorescence: Fluorochrome conjugated anti-GFP was assayed by immunofluorescence microscopy on prokaryotic. (E. coli) and eukaryotic (CHO cells) expression systems and was shown to detect GFP containing inserts. Significant amplification of signal was detected using fluorochrome conjugated anti-GFP relative to the fluorescence of GFP alone. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000. Detects a 42kD band. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested. -
