Usage: Immunohistochemistry: This antibody was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for this antibody was determined to be 4 μg/mL. Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:8000. Western Blot: Approx. 70kD band observed in Human Brain (Cerebellum) and in Mouse and Rat Brain lysates (calculated MW of 66.9kD according to Human NP_000808.2 and 66.6kD according to Mouse NP_032103.2). Recommended concentration: 0.3-1 μg/mL. - Comment
