Sheep polyclonal antibody raised against synthetic peptide of MBP.
Sequence
YGSLPQKSQR SQDENPVV
Specificity
This antiserum recognizes MBP in demyelinated nerve tissues. Immunohistochemical analysis of lesioned rat spinal cord indictaes a high level of specificity for this antiserum.
Cross-Reactivity
Human, Rat
Immunogen
A synthetic peptide (conjugated with KLH) corresponding to amino acids 68-86 of guinea pig MBP.
Immunohistochemistry (1:1000-1:4000) The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
