This antibody detects asparaginase [ E. coli ]. Cross reactivity against asparaginase from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined. Immunoelectrophoresis give a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin, anti-rabbit serum as well as purified and partially purified asparaginase [ ].
Purification
Multi-step process including delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer

Application Notes
Western blot : 1/500. ELISA : 1/1,000. L-asparaginase antibody has been assayed against 1.0 μg of asparaginase in a standard capture ELISA using peroxidase conjugated streptavidin and ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1/3,200 to 1/12,800 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested.
