    Purpose
IKKα/β is a protein encoded by the CHUK gene which is approximately 84,6 kDa. IKKα/β is localised to the cytoplasm and nucleus. It is involved in activated TLR4 signalling, the TNFR1 pathway, the 4-1BB pathway, RET signalling and toll-like receptor signalling pathways. This protein falls under the serine/threonine protein kinase family. It has an essential role in the NF-kappa-B signalling pathway which is activated by multiple stimuli such as inflammatory cytokines, bacterial or viral products, DNA damages or other cellular stresses. It acts as part of the canonical IKK complex in the conventional pathway of NF-kappa-B activation. These modifications allow for degradation by the proteasome. IKKα/β is widely expressed. Mutations in the CHUK gene result in Cocoon syndrome and incontinentia pigmenti. STJ90301 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This primary antibody specifically binds to endogenous IKKα/β protein which only binds about S176/177 when S176/177 is phosphorylated.
    Specificity
Phospho-IKKα/β (S176/177) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of IKKα/β protein only when phosphorylated at S176/177.
    Characteristics
    Rabbit polyclonal to Phospho-IKKα/β (S176/177).
    Purification
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
    Immunogen
Synthesized peptide derived from human IKKalpha/beta around the phosphorylation site of S176/177.
    Isotype
    IgG
