    Flow Cytometry (FACS)
    Purpose
    Anti-Hu TCR Vdelta2 PE
    Specificity
The mouse monoclonal antibody B6 recognizes an extracellular epitope of human TCR Vdelta2, which is expressed on the majority of gamma/delta T cells.
    Purification
Purified antibody is conjugated with R-phycoerythrin (PE) under optimum conditions. Unconjugated antibody and free fluorochrome are removed by size-exclusion chromatography.
    Immunogen
    human recombinant TCR Vdelta2
    Clone
    B6
    Isotype
    IgG1 kappa
  • Application Notes
Flow cytometry: The reagent is designed for analysis of human blood cells using 10 μL reagent / 100 μL of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (1 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests.

    TCR Vdelta2
    Background
TCR Vdelta2 is a variant of TCR delta chain, that is present on a major subset of human gamma/delta T cells. TCR Vgamma9/Vdelta2 (or Vgamma2/Vdelta2) T cells are able to recognize and kill various tumor cells, as this receptor heterodimer binds to certain phosphoantigens, expressed by tumors. They can recognize these antigens in an MHC-unrestricted manner. Similarly to NK cells, Vdelta2 T cells express MHC I receptors and killer Ig-like receptors, that are involved in tumor recognition and cytolysis. The potently cytotoxic subset of them is identified by cell surface expression of polysialyated CD56.,TCRVD2
